Utilities and credit, connected to identity.

xNEXT is a system for utilities companies and lenders to anchor bills and credit decisions in identity. This page describes what it will do when it ships and tells you plainly that it does not exist in this launch build. xNEXT arrives in phase 2.

Bills and credit tied to proof, not to documents.

When you apply for utility service or credit, companies ask for bills and documents you have already proven elsewhere. xNEXT lets them work from a proof instead — identity you have already shown, payment history you have already disclosed, credit you have already proven.

What xNEXT connects.

A utilities company in your region issues a proof: you have a live bill, your account is paid, you are not disconnected. A lender verifies that proof — not by calling the utility, not by reading a scan of an old bill, but by checking the proof directly. That proof lives in your wallet. It goes with you if you move to a different utility or apply for credit elsewhere.

This is not in this launch. It arrives in phase 2.

Everything described above is architecturally sound and specified. It is being built now. But it does not run in this launch build. When it ships, this page will link to the live endpoints and the API reference. For now, it tells you what is coming and when.

The five-step spine, end to end.

The idea runs meter to proof in five steps. A reading is validated and rated. The billing engine turns it into a bill with a payment state machine attached. The bill is deposited into a wallet as a signed, attested item. Paying it is a device signature over one specific request. Payment receipts accrue into a portable proof of payment history a person can carry to a lender.

Where consent has to be explicit.

Everything up to a signed bill sitting in a wallet is bookkeeping — a reading, a rated bill, a deposited item. None of it asks a person to decide anything, and none of it moves money. Paying it is different: a signed, revocable act, refusable after the fact. xNEXT is designed to keep that boundary in one place, not scattered across screens.

Before you go any further.

xNEXT is not built yet and is not in this build. Check the register below to see what phase the utilities and credit work is in and which pieces are being built.

There is no register row for utilities or credit rails. Nothing above should be read as a report on whether they run — this page says what they are for, and the block below names what has not been written down.

The register holds 17 live · 2 partial · 2 planned · 5 not yet.

Straight answers.

When does xNEXT launch?
Phase 2. This is not the launch build, so it does not run today.
Can I use it now?
No. The system is being built. Check back when phase 2 ships.
What utilities companies are part of this?
That will be announced when the system ships. For now, the focus is building it so utilities can integrate it.

A reading becomes a bill, a bill becomes a signed item, and paid history becomes a proof you own rather than a file a bureau keeps about you. None of it runs in this launch, and the page says so above rather than below.
